Look who’s cooking! It’s NW second graders creating tasty new recipes with Grace Davy from Come Alive Outside’s Harvest of the Month. Each month, a group of second graders gather together to make a new recipe and share it with ALL of NW’s students. This past week many of our students felt adventurous when they tried a special “Smashed Kale Salad” recipe made with real Vermont maple syrup. Some children loved it, some thought it was okay, and some said they did not like it “yet,” but they were willing to give it a try! We were thrilled to have RIS parent, Renee Kitts, volunteer to join Grace Davy to lend a hand.
