Mrs. Russo’s first grade class utilizes the outdoor classroom at Northwest Primary School.  The outdoor space allows students to explore and learn through creative play. There is a pavilion to have the classroom setting and many other hands-on learning opportunities.  There is a sound wall, natural play structures along with garden beds and an opportunity for composting. We will be adding cedar raised beds to fill with sand/dirt/rocks. The students can use tree bark, moss and twigs to support fairy play, truck/construction play and farm play.
