Northwest Primary School 2025-26 Opening of School Information

1st and 2nd Grade

• Morning car drop-off for 1st and 2nd graders starts at 8:45 AM, and the school day begins at 9:05 AM starting August 27th. When students arrive, they’ll head either to the cafeteria or into their classrooms.
• Car pick-up begins at 3:20 PM.
• Bus pick-up and drop-off times will be shared in the bus letters sent out in late August.

Kindergarten Orientation

• Northwest kindergarten families will receive a letter in mid-August with specific details about orientation.
• Orientation takes place on August 27th, 28th, and 29th from 9:15–11:15 AM.
• Kindergarteners will ride on a separate bus for these days. If you have older students who go to NW, do not put them on the same bus as your other children on these days.  Buses will bring them home shortly after 11:15 AM.
• All kindergarteners will begin full school days starting Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025.

Important Dates

• No School on Labor Day – Monday, September 1st, 2025
• Open House is on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025. More details will be shared soon!
